Reward-Based training has been scientifically studied and proven to be the most humane and effective method of training dogs today. It is grounded in love, and requires you to be calm, consistent, & patient.
Since dogs aren't born knowing what to do, it's our responsibility to guide them. When you teach your dog using Fear-Free methods and Positively Reward them when they Learn, they are likely to repeat those behaviors.
Our Two Week Stay N Train Programs as well as our One-On-One Session will provide Potty Training, Basic Obedience & Manners. During this time, your companion will develop their Confidence, Independence and Social Skills. And regardless of your furry companion's breed or age, we can stop Unwanted Behaviors like potty accidents, leash-pulling, and relentless BARKING! We can also help you treat anxiety behavior when your dog is separated from you or isolated.
We believe that the partnership between you and your dog should be one of love & respect. Like any loving relationship, there needs to be communication, rules and boundaries. Our goal is to help you form an unbreakable bond with your loyal companion that develops over time and never from fear.

Teaching your dog to behave properly is one of the most important responsibilities you have as an owner and choosing the right trainer can make all the difference. Reward-based, Fear-Free Trainers are very hard to find and sadly, adverse tools like Prong Collars, Choke chains, and E-Collars are used every day as the primary and only form of training.
These methods should be the LAST resort of any training program and at The Bark Stop, we do not approve nor use any of these devices, at any time.

The Bark Stop offers our clients different training programs that fit their needs as well as their lifestyle. If the idea of working side by side with your trainer makes your tail wag, then we suggest your explore our One-On-One Training Program. However, if you don't have the time or patience to train your puppy in between sessions, we would strongly suggestly you learn more about our Stay N Train Programs.
