You have questions...We have answers.

We started digging and found Joe's Dog Walking! Now What?

First, please give us a call, send a text or fill out our online form.  Next, you will receive a call from us so we can learn more about you and your pet needs and hopefully schedule a meet-and-greet. If everything seems perfect to you, we can discuss and choose what services are right for you and we can proceed with booking. We will coordinate everything in order to create a seamless experience for everyone.

How many dogs can you walk at once?

At Joe's Dog Walking we specialize in walking 1 dog at a time...unless of course you have 2! We don't offer the big group walks.

Are there any restrictions on the types of dogs you walk?

Nope! We love all our 4 legged friends.  Big, small, hyper or chill, we can handle it!

Do you send me updates after each dog walk?

We most certainly do! We will let you know the moment we arrive and afterwards, we will send you a text message with updates and photos so you can smile knowing that your dog or cat was treated with loving care.

Can I schedule a dog walk at a specific time of day?

We try to be as accommodating as possible.  In order to keep everyone's tails wagging, we offer a 2 hour time window - starting from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. | 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. | 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. | 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. If you require care before or after hours, we only ask for an extra $10 per walk.  (and that covers 2 dogs)

My pet(s) needs to go to the Veterinarian - Can you take them?

Absolutely!  We understand that your schedule can get a little hectic and we are here to lend a helping paw.  We will happily take your pet to the Vet, the Pet Store, or pretty much anywhere else around town.  We charge a little more for the service if your home-to-destination & back is longer than 25 miles.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit Cards, Venmo, Cash App and good old Cash.  We require payment in full 3 days prior to starting any service together.  That brings peace of mind to everyone involved. Obviously exceptions can & have been made to accommodate your situation - let's just talk about it together.

Does your pet get along with other dogs, cats, kids & people?

What are some of the important things to know about your pet?

Whether we are walking or pet sitting your dog or cat, it's important to know how they react when around animals and other people.  We are trained and experienced in avoiding any potentially dangerous situations but that info is helpful in keeping everyone safe.  It's also great to know if your dog is allowed or enjoys going to the dog park to socialize.

What is your Cancellation policy?

We understand that schedules change, sometimes suddenly and as a result, you may need to cancel services.  We understand and try to be as fair as possible to everyone.  Viviana and I are moral, ethical and just good-hearted people who want you to feel incredible about working together.

Here's what we think is fair:

  • We require 24 hours notice for all dog walk cancellations otherwise you will be charged for that particular walk.

  • If your dog is not home during your regular appointment or we are sent away at the time of arrival, the full service charge will incur.

  • If you book our Dog Walking Service for 1 month in advance and need to cancel a day or two, just give us 24 hours notice and we will either refund you or offer you a credit towards any service of equal value.

  • Overnight or Weekend Dog & Cat Sitting services require a 3 day notice for cancellation and you will be funded in full

Is Joe's Dog Walking Insured?

Every animal is unique and spends their days differently.  In order to provide the very best care possible, we need to know all the details.  Prior to starting one of our services, we ask our clients to fill out a simple questionnaire about their pet.

Questions like:

What time does your dog get up to go pee?

What is their feeding schedule?

Do they take medication?

Are they afraid of thunder?

How does your dog behave when left alone?

And a few other questions that help us learn more about you and your pet(s).

The more prepared we are, the better the experience for everyone.
